Free educational tools for teachers in Martinsville-Henry County

Treasure Chests are classroom aids with lessons on historically important civilizations, famous authors, American history and Black history — all based on Virginia SOLs. Each Treasure Chest has been carefully researched to help provide an exciting learning experience. Treasure Chests are available free-of-charge to teachers and schools in Martinsville-Henry County.

Treasure chests should be requested at least one week in advance of the expected delivery date to provide staff with adequate time to schedule drop off and pick up. Chests are available to check out for seven days from delivery. Once a request is submitted, staff will be in touch with instructions and clarifications for drop-off, pick-up and handling of the chests.
