About Ed Gowen
Ed has studied under such masters as Kevin Macpherson, Ralph Oberg, Charles Sovek, and Clayton Beck, III. His paintings have been seen from California to New York City in such prestigious shows as the Salmagundi Club, Salon International, Oil Painters of America (Southeast Regional), Hilton Head Art League, and the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society. His work hangs in both public and private collections and has been commended with awards and publications. Such honors have included Best in Show, Second Place, and many numerous Merit and Special Category awards.
