Year-end message from Executive Director Heidi Pinkston

Dear Friends of Piedmont Arts,

As we come to the close of 2025, I am filled with deep gratitude for the support and enthusiasm you’ve shown Piedmont Arts throughout the year. Because of you, our galleries, programs, and performances continue to flourish, welcoming thousands of residents, students, and visitors who find inspiration, connection, and joy.

In 2026, we look forward to a season filled with extraordinary opportunities for our community. We are proud to host the American Watercolor Society exhibition, bringing world-class artistry to Martinsville-Henry County. The Richmond Ballet will return to perform “Sleeping Beauty” for area students, continuing a legacy of arts education that has transformed young lives for decades. And of course, our beloved Dancing for the Arts fundraiser will bring together creativity, camaraderie, and a celebration of local talent, all in support of the museum’s mission.

Your support has an impact far beyond our galleries. Museums across the country strengthen local economies and enrich daily life, returning several times their investment through educational and cultural benefits. Here in Martinsville-Henry County, your commitment to Piedmont Arts helps ensure a vibrant, creative community for all.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to offering meaningful, accessible arts experiences for all. We hope to welcome you often in the new year, to explore an exhibit, attend a performance, bring a friend, or simply enjoy a moment of creativity and connection.

From all of us at Piedmont Arts, we wish you a holiday season filled with joy, peace, and hope.

With gratitude,

Heidi Pinkston
Executive Director
