Elizabeth Huerta + Alfredo Huerta

Elizabeth Huerta is an early intervention program manager at Piedmont Community Services and an aerial coach with Valkyrie Acrobatics. Though she has no formal dance experience, she participated in gymnastics as a child and has been doing aerial performance since 2022. She says it was an honor to be asked to participate in Dancing for the Arts and hopes to raise funds and awareness for the arts. She is also excited to introduce the community to aerial arts. She is excited to dance with her husband, Alfredo. The pair recently competed and won first place in the aerial ropes act at the Aerialympics.

Alfredo Huerta is a police officer for the Martinsville Police Department. He is also the cross country and girls' soccer coach at Martinsville High School. He has no formal dance experience, but is an active runner who enjoys competing in races. He hopes his running community will support him and Elizabeth as they compete in Dancing for the Arts.

Elizabeth and Alfredo are coached by Catherine Rodenbough. Their assigned dance in the competition is salsa.
