Teen Arts Council invites area high school students to take part in a two-session mosaic workshop with instructor Susan Hopkins from 6-9 p.m. on Feb. 19 and March 19.
Participants will learn the vibrant art of mosaics and create a 23-by-6-inch sign of their own design. Participants should arrive with an idea in mind to make the most of their class time. All materials are included.
Tickets are $25 for the two-session workshop, and both sessions are required to complete the project.
Enjoy a relaxing yoga session with instructor Ally Snead from 10-11 a.m. on select Saturdays in the Piedmont Arts galleries. Bring your own mat for traditional yoga sessions. Chairs will be provided during chair yoga sessions.
Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers. Payment should be made to the instructor. Payment options include cash, Venmo, and Cash App.

Learn Bob Ross’ famous painting technique with certified instructor Naomi Hodge-Muse. Classes meet from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month. Students should bring a roll of paper towels. All other supplies will be provided.

Summer Art Camp will focus on art history and appreciation. Campers will be introduced to artists such as Jasper Johns, Piet Mondrian, George Seurat, Marc Chagall, Faith Ringgold, Georgia O'Keeffe, and James Rizzi. Age-appropriate activities will incorporate these artists' styles and techniques, including pointillism, mosaics, landscapes, cityscapes, neo-dada, and pop art.
