Piedmont Arts is pleased to honor Dr. Joan Montgomery and Ridgeway Signs at the 16th annual Clyde Hooker Awards for their support of Piedmont Arts and the arts in Martinsville-Henry County. In addition to the recipients of the Clyde Hooker Award, Piedmont Arts will also recognize 2018 Arts in Education Award recipients Shauna Hines, secondary instructional technology resource teacher for Martinsville City Schools and Michele Minich, art teacher at Martinsville Middle School; as well as the recipients of the 2018 Nicodemus Hufford and Harold Knowlton Work Memorial Art Scholarships. The Clyde Hooker Awards ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 pm. Guests are invited to enjoy a reception with light refreshments following the awards ceremony. In lieu of an admission cost, guests may make a donation to Piedmont Arts’ scholarship fund. Please include "Scholarship Fund" in the comments. RSVP to this event
