Complimentary wine and light refreshments will be served. Violinist Rose Baker will perform during the reception. Baker has performed at the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, with the Baroque Aria Ensemble in New York City, in the Symphony and Philharmonia orchestras at the Manhattan School of Music, and as assistant concertmaster with the Jazz Philharmonia at Manhattan School of Music. A current student of Burton Kaplan, Baker's previous teachers include Joseph J. Nigro and Jana Vander Schaaf Ross. Excited to share as widely as possible the music of emerging composers, Rose regularly performs music written by her fellow students at the Manhattan School of Music.
