Join artist Donald Towns for a discussion of his work on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Piedmont Arts. A reception will be held at 6:30 p.m. The talk will begin at 7 p.m. in the galleries.
Towns is a painter, background animation illustrator and art director. He worked for many years at Disney, where he was involved in the making of the award-winning films "Beauty and the Beast," "Aladdin” and "The Little Mermaid." He has freelanced for several companies, including the Thomas Kinkade Company. His work is on view at Piedmont Arts from Oct. 25, 2025-Jan. 10, 2026 in the exhibit, Depicting the Moment.
