Piedmont Arts will present the 2013 Clyde Hooker Award to Betty Lou Pigg and River Community Bank for their support of the arts in Martinsville and Henry County.
The reception will also honor Piedmont Arts' 2013 scholarship recipients and the 2013 Arts in Education Award winners: Pat Walmsley, Principal Campbell Court Elementary; Felicia Preston, Principal Albert Harris Elementary; and Patsy Anderson-Rusmisel, Patrick Henry Community College.
Light refreshments will be served. In lieu of an admission cost, guests are invited to make a donation to Piedmont Arts' scholarship fund.
