Piedmont Arts Guild
The Piedmont Arts Guild is a Community Partner of Piedmont Arts. Its purpose is to encourage and develop awareness and appreciation of the arts and to promote the arts and Piedmont Arts programs among the citizens of Martinsville and Henry County.
Some of the activities of the Guild are:- Regular monthly meetings that include a luncheon for members and guests catered at the art center for a nominal charge, a brief business meeting and programs about visual arts, music and the performing arts to delight and inform
- Providing volunteers to serve on the hostess desk at Piedmont Arts
- Serving on a variety of committees including:
- Programs
- Telephone
- Projects
- Nominating
- Floral
- Courtesy
- Membership
- Gallery Hostess
- Hospitality
- Mailing
Meetings of the Guild are usually held at the Piedmont Arts on the fourth Thursday of each month beginning with lunch at 11:45 am. Guild Members must be members of Piedmont Arts. Guild dues are $10 annually.
