Katie Adkins + Brandon Johnson
Katie Adkins is the region lead at the DBQ Project. The four-time All-American cheerleader is excited to participate in Dancing for the Arts to raise money for all the “wonderful education opportunities” that Piedmont Arts provides in the community. She hopes her students, friends, and family will cheer her on, and promises to keep her victory dance humble.
Brandon Johnson is a health and physical education teacher and the head football coach at Bassett High School. He has no formal dancing experience, but is excited to participate in Dancing for the Arts to challenge himself to “do something different and have a ton of fun.” He hopes his family, friends, and football players will support him in the big competition.
Katie and Brandon are coached by Victoria Howard. Their assigned dance in the competition is the waltz.
