The Influence of Mass Media on Culture

This program is made possible by the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities. This event remains admission free through the membership support of people like you. As part of Piedmont Arts' exploration of literary censorship, Frank Tavares, “The Voice of NPR," will discuss the influence mass media has had on culture in the 21st century. Tavares is the voice of NPR's News underwriters on newscasts including, All Things Considered, Fresh Air, The Diane Rehm Show and Talk of the Nation.
