Join Piedmont Arts for a fabulous fundraiser featuring local celebrities dancing in support of the arts in Martinsville and Henry County!
This Dancing with the Stars-style contest features eight teams of local dancers competing to win the most votes. Dancing for the Arts will be broadcast live on Channel 18 on Saturday, April 21. During the live performance, supporters of the arts are invited to vote for their favorite couple. Each vote raises money to support Piedmont Arts programming in our area and helps your favorite couple win the big prize - a gorgeous mirror ball trophy with a hand-turned base by Studio 107 artist Terry Mitchell.
For a special Dancing for the Arts experience, Piedmont Arts is offering VIP passes, which allow guests backstage access before the event and a meet-and-greet with the Dancing for the Arts contestants.
Due to demand, more VIP Passes have been added for Dancing for the Arts! If you previously purchased a general admission ticket and would like to upgrade to a VIP Pass, please email pallen@piedmontarts.org.
Note: Votes submitted by check must be received by Piedmont Arts by 12 pm on Saturday, April 21, 2012 to be counted on the night of the performance.
