Piedmont Arts

Nominations Due: April 12, 2013, 5 PM

Piedmont Arts is seeking nominations from the public for individuals and businesses that are involved in and support the arts in our community. The award recipients, chosen by committee, will be honored at a special reception in May. Proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Hufford Memorial Arts Scholarship Fund, whose 2013 beneficiaries will be announced at the reception.

Piedmont Arts' Board of Directors created the Clyde Hooker Award in 2003 to recognize individuals and businesses that have made significant donations of their talents, time and resources in support of the arts in this area. The award is named for J. Clyde Hooker, Jr. in grateful appreciation of his generous support of the arts and culture in Martinsville and Henry County. Award recipients are chosen by committee from nominations submitted by members of the community.
